I was sitting in the office in Worcester this morning, reading the newspaper, when I had the extremely bizarre experience of randomly encountering my own name in one of Brian Lee’s articles.
Want to see a video of the meeting? You’re in luck!

SOUTHBRIDGE TOWN COUNCIL, AUGUST 29, 2011, PART 2:
Part 2 of 2.
In keeping with what is apparently this week’s custom, I have no further comment at this time.

I normally try to make comments in a positive way when I disagree with something which involves town government and or council. At least I think I do. This issue even being far from home has raised the hairs on the back of my neck. I cannot understand nor believe that some members of the Southbridge Town Council would want or try to stop citizen participation during a council meeting. Being able to speak on a agenda item when that item is up for a discussion than voted is key sometimes to let councilors know how important it is to the residents of the community. Making this discussion happen at sub committee meetings will allow way to much time to lapse and allow the importance of the issue to be forgotten. Again as I have posted on another site that history will show the importance of allowing residents to speak during not only during citizen forum but during agenda items also. I would hope that the Southbridge Town Council decides against taking this action. I believe if this happens that this will be the straw that breaks the camel back and could be the beginning of a quest that will lead to a major change to the form of government that has govern the Town of Soutybridge for a long time. Good luck Southbridge
The biggest step with anonymous people, as Dennis has pointed out, is to make up a moniker and stick with it. That way people can tell one anonymous poster from another. It's hard to have a conversation with someone when it is actually two or three different people, with different opinions. ____So if you want to be anonymous make up a name and stick with it. It's only fair. ____ .
